The word I chose was friendship because Randy came over to Ponyboy’s house to see how he was doing because when he was in the rumble against the Socials he got kicked in the head and the back pretty hard and he got concussion from it so I thought that Randy should lots of friendship because they come from two way different worlds and for him to come over to Ponyboys house was really nice seeing how his friends gave Ponyboy the concussion.
Some stuff that happened in the chapter is that Pony was very sad because Johnny and Dally died so he did not want to do anything so at the end of the chapter he is the one who writes the the book for a report and after reading that i thought that was a good ending and also I think the whole book was great and one of the best I have ever read and that is it probaly the last blog post on the Outsiders

 For chapters 9 and 10 I pick the word “survival” because and they had to survive the rumble or they would be mocked by the socials and make a bad name to greasers everywere. So Darry started the rumble as he fought his old school football buddy but then Dally ran to help and everyone looked at him because he was supose to be in the hospital but he wasn’t then Darry’s old friend hit Darry right in the face and the rumble was on after a while the Socials ran to their car and drove off and that is why I picked the word “survival”.

The sumary of these chapters is that the rumble starts and they fight for a while and the Socials run away from the fight  and ran away Dally takes Ponyboy to the hospital to see Johnny. When they get their Johnny is going to die and then he tells Ponyboy to “stay gold Ponyboy” and then Johnny dies. Then Dally runs out of the hospital and everyone goes to Ponyboy, Darry and Sodapop’s house to have a victory party and then Dally phones and tells them to meet him in the vacant lot because the cops were chasing him so they suround him and he pulls out a empty gun and the cops shot Dally and later on figure out he want to be killed. Thats about it for now Bye!!

For these chapters I pick the word friendship because      Two-Bit and Ponyboy go into Johnny’s room in the hospital to see if he is ok he was their because the ceiling in the church fell on him when they were saving kids from the church in Windrixville but back to the story so they went to see Johnny and he was like half alive. So they talked and also they went to go and see if Dally was ok because he had to save Johnny and he got burned trying to get him out the window. Then they stayed at the hospital for while and talked to Johnny to make him more happy then they left. That is why I think these chapters involve Friendship.

  Hello again this is my third blog post on the outsiders so my class and I have to pick a word that best describes the chapter and I think that the best word out of fear, survival, friendship and heroism. I think that the best word is heroism because in the chapter 5 and 6 Johnny and Ponyboy go into the abanden when it is on fire because they left a lighted smoke in the church and it started a fire but they weren’t there because Dally came and picked them up in his car to go and get a burger and talk at Dairy Queen. So they went and ran into the church because there was kids trapped in the burning church they grabbed the kids and threw them out of the window and then the roof was starting to cave in so Ponyboy jumped out the window and then Johny went but he was to late some of the roof fell and hit them right on the back Dally seen what had happened jumped out and saved Johnny from being burned more and they were al heros so that is why I think this chapter is best described by the word “heroism”.

   That is most of the summary so here is what else happened so at the start they were at the church Johnny went to go get some food and other stuff to amuse them so Ponyboy just sat there waiting for Johnny to come back. When Johnny came back he had enough food for a week, the book Gone With the Wind, hair dye and some smokes. Ponyboy had asked what the hair dye was for and Johnny replyed “that it was to descise them from the cops because they kill that social named Bob”. After they cut their hair with a knife they dyed their hair they never liked their hair know that it was short and blonde. So they waited for a couple of days just reading the book and smoking then Ponyboy woke up and realized that Dally was right in front of him. They went to Dairy Queen and and decided to go home and to go home they had to pass the church so their was a fire they went in saved the kids went to the hospital and Ponyboy wasn’t hurt enough to go and have his on room in the hospital so he was on the waiting bench when he seen Darry, and Soda and they hug and cried and went home. That is about it for chapter 5 and 6.
